Toxicology Research Projects
Our mission is to develop and maintain a U.S.-based repository for toxicology case-based and research-oriented projects for forensic pathology fellows, with projects designed to be completed within the fellowship year. Future plans include expanding participation to scientists and graduate trainees.
We are currently assessing medical examiner/coroner office and laboratory participation interest. The repository will be hosted through the NAME portal as a long-term initiative, with potential future funding available depending on project scope.
We encourage collaboration across institutions to enhance impact and research worthy of publications and/or presentation at the NAME national meeting and there is scope to include other national and international meetings. Projects may be ongoing, planned, or previously unrealized ideas.
